Founded in 2011, Community Outreach is a body of believers who strive to make Jesus Christ the center of attention. The ministry began in an old gas station in Story, Arkansas, with a handful of believers who desired nothing but a closer, more intimate relationship with the Lord. Within a month the Lord directed our path to an old gymnasium in Mount Ida, Arkansas, and the church grew rapidly with an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Less than a year later, God opened a door for a location right in the heart of Mount Ida on the square. Then in 2024, the Lord opened a HUGE door with the oppurtunity to purchase the old shoe factory on the hill in Mount Ida. What was once a shoe factory, is now a soul saving factory!
With the recent blessing of this new property and huge facility, our work has only begun, and we are so thankful. Our desire is to truly evangelize the lost, disciple the believer, and increase the fellowship of the church. God has blessed us with a thriving youth group, as well as our "Seasoned Believers". We want the whole world around us to know Jesus and grow closer to Him EVERYDAY. From the youngest to the oldest, at Community Outreach, it's ALL about Jesus!
